Today is my last shared card post for the Canadian Scrapbooker magazine blog. I would like to thank Canadian Scrapbooker magazine again for the guest design spot. It was a great time and was an honor doing the post!
A recap: the first card was femininely die cut, the second card was "grungy, textured, inky fun" and the last card used Graphic 45. I know that is a huge shocker to everyone. LOL. I should really invest in Graphic 45 stock...
Since spring is supposed to be here, I thought I would use the March papers from Graphic 45's Time to Flourish 8x8 paper pad. The papers go so well with Quietfire's "Friends are those rare people" stamped sentiment:
The card stack is as follows from the bottom up: white tent fold base, Graphic 45 Time to Flourish (March back) cut to size, white card stock die cut with Spellbinders' Reflective moment and white crackle applied, purple Graphic 45 paper cut to size, Time to Flourish cut to size, and white card stock die cut using Spellbinders' A2 Valiant Honor. The sentiment was stamped using Memento's Rich Cocoa.
Seam binding was dyed using Dusty Concord Distress Stain, tied with brown twine and adhered as shown.
The card came together quite quickly and I may make a couple more using different months from the Time to Flourish paper pad. :)
Thanks again to Canadian Scrapbooker! And thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Kathy Jo
