Hello Crafty Friends.
It is that time again...time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land! The challenge this time is a favorite: Anything Goes using any brand of steel or thin ruled die that Scrapy Land sells- which is easy to do since they offer over 40 Brands of dies.
For my project I decided to make a friendship card using the sweet sentiment from Quietfire Design stamp set, Always be my Friend.
The card base was die cut from the largest die in Spellbinders die set Victorian Medallion Three.
Gold shimmer paper was die cut using the two largest dies from the same set.
The sentiment was heat embossed in black onto patterned paper from Marion Smith's Junque Gypsy. The sentiment and background patterned papers were die cut using Memory Box's Stitched Square Layers.
A double bow was made from sheer ivory ribbon. Three butterflies were fussy cut from the patterned papers and applied as shown.
The finishing touches were ivory pearls and- of course- Stickles on the roses.
I do hope you liked the project and it inspires you to create a project to share at Scrapy Land this fortnight!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a happy crafty day. :)
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo
