Hello Crafters! Kathy Jo here and I am so excited to share a project using one of the newly released A Way with Words dies, Memories:
Love, love, love this new die! As soon as I received it I knew that I had to use it on a scrapbook page for our new puppy, Teddy. The photo of Teddy and my hubby is too sweet and the Memories die is a perfect pairing with the photo. I made sure to accentuate the lovely die by placing it on layered banner dies:
Admittedly, I have only completed a few scrapbook pages in the past couple of years but the die really had my mojo going. Funny how one die cut can spark creativity! With such a pretty die, I decided to use some of my treasured Graphic 45 paper for page (Botanical Tea)...and I am so happy I did.
Now I have the first page in Teddy's scrapbook: "Memories".
Thanks for stopping by! Have a happy, crafty day. :)
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo
Beautiful layout Kathy Jo! I love the green and that beautiful memories die!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous layout Kathy-Jo! It so perfectly frames that heart-warming photo without overwhelming it. Your new puppy is adorable, and I hope having him is helping ease your heartbreak.
ReplyDeleteMy Sister and Brother-in-law have a new Saint puppy named Teddy too! Their other rescued Saint was named Yogi, so they wanted a 'bear' name for the new baby. He was a big baby though, 11 months old when they got him from some people who, "didn't know he would get that big". D'OH!
What a sweet first page for your darling puppy! The greens are the perfect backdrop for the gorgeous photo, and your new die is perfect on top of the banner dies! Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteHow very sweet this layout is. Love the photo of your pup and the use of that pretty Graphic 45 paper. You've used the dies perfectly!
