Hello Kraft Tag with Tulips
Happy Sunday, Crafteteers!
I was in a crafting "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" mood last night and ended up making this little tag. The tag used all scrap materials (yay!). Also, the two die sets and stamp set I have had since the end of last summer...but never used. Feels good to finally use the dies, stamps and scrap material!
Hero Arts' background stamp Birds and Flowers (CG478) was stamped on Kraft paper. Spellbinders Tulips Border (S4-211) and Tulips pendants (S4-209) were used as shown. JustRite's Musical Notes Labels Twenty supplied the "HELLO!" sentiment. The ribbon woven into the border was a piece of ribbon I had taken off a gift package. :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Sunday!

What a great idea to use things you've had around and had not used yet. I really should pull out some of those unused stamps and take them for a test drive on some scraps. It's amazing how many things some of us purchase with great intentions, that never see the light of day! Did you tie that bow freehand or use some sort of tool? That is one perfect bow!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm dying to look at your JR entry, but I don't look until I've done mine!
Goodness, I am horrible at tying bows. Most of my shoes are slip ons and my ultimate cleats have bows that look like a 4 year old tied them. I use the bow maker and I think I purchased it at Carousel Stamps.
DeleteHave a good evening!
Hugs.
Cute tag love how you're used up your scraps I need to do that too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a darling tag with so many great details. Thanks so much for sharing this in our challenge this week. I really appreciate your participation, and hope you will come back tomorrow for another great challenge. The more times you enter per week and create quality projects like this, the more you increase your chances for making the Top 3, and then winning the monthly random draw. Your art is lovely, and I look forward to seeing more. The challenge starting tomorrow is CAS and I know you can do an amazing job with it!

Karen-
DeleteThank you so much for the comment. It meant a lot to me.
Challenges are new to me- just started in mid-January. Usually I just go into my craft room and make what comes to mind. Challenges are pushing me to try new things and I am really enjoying the Kraft Journal challenges! Someday I will do lovely craft paper justice!
Thanks again and have a good evening!
