JustRite "Love is a never ending story" card

Hello All!

It has been a while since my last post.  Things have been very busy here so I have not had time to post or check other crafters posts or respond to comments.  I apologize for my lack of communication!

While sitting at an airport last week I pulled out my sketch book and started to sketch ideas for JustRite's Challenge #095 "Window of Opportunity".  Today I finally had time to go into the craftroom and turn two of the sketches into cards.  Wish I had more time to work on them but I guess there is only so much time in a day.  Ah, if only I could craft for 40 hours a week and work for 4 hours one night in the week...and maintain my current pay  ;)

The first card is intended to be a wedding or engagement card.  On the front I used JustRite's Vintage Pearl Labels embossed in gold.  Tim Holtz's Distress Stains in Victorian Velvet and Bundled Sage were watered down and painted in the areas as shown.  I fussy cut around the inside of the stamped image.  JustRite's Vintage Label die was then used. Foam tape elevated the die cut part onto white vellum.  Recollections pink rose paper was applied under the vellum.  The inside used "Love is a never ending story" from Vintage Pearl Labels and one of the tags from JR's Antique Valentine Tags one.  The card is made from plastic...the plastic from a Spellbinder's die set.  (It so bothers me to have the packaging plastic not being used.  While sketching in my book I realized I could use all those plastic packages on cards.  Recycling rocks!)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

This card is entered into JustRite's challenge #95: http://justritestampers.typepad.com/justrite-inspiration/2013/04/justrite-friday-challenge-095-window-of-opportunity.html
