Hello Crafty Peeps!
A quick post today to share a recently completed project. I happily received a package in the mail this week that contained my new Cheery Lynn dies. One of the die sets was the Pierced Banners dies and I am loving them! This is my third project using the die set...so pleased with the purchase!
The card used the new stamped sentiment from Quietfire Design: Friendship isn't a big thing.
It was stamped using Distress Ink in Dusty Concord. The banners used Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac. The doily dies are also from Cheery Lynn- French Pastry and French Pastry Tiny Doily. The edges were embossed in gold.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I do hope you enjoyed the card. :)
Have a happy crafty day!
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Kathy Jo, this is so elegant and beautiful. And what a lovely saying. Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Cheery Lynn Designs challenge. We are pleased that you are enjoying your new banners.
ReplyDeleteKathy Jo, the lavender touches with the gold banner were very regal & elegant. I like the look of the CL pierced banners, and always love this pretty doily. If you have the Sizzix Precision plate, the doilies (which I've had some trouble with cutting a couple of those, but not this one!) work marvelously with that plate. Your floral bouquet against the tiny gold doily put me in mind of a tussy mussy. Well done. TFS & have a great wkend.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kathy Jo, this is such a gorgeous card! Love your composition, the added lilac and purple colors and of course the pop of gold! Thanks for joining us at this week's challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs and good luck!
