Masculine Birthday card: You deserve a Beer!
Hello Crafty Friends!
Recently my brother-in-law celebrated a birthday so I created a card for him using The Ton Stamps' set, Beer. This ended up being a fun project playing with the layered stamp set and determining the card front layers.
After picking out the ink colors, I decided to add more depth by using Glossy Accents on the handle and mug. On the foam I added Nuvo Crystal drops.
The sentiment is from the same set. I created a banner using We R Memory Keepers banner punch and mounted it to the card front using double faced foam tape.
The background die is from Spellbinders (Contemporary Circles) and the oval die is from Sizzix (Stitched Ovals).
The card ended up with cool textures and patterns. I think that I may need to make a few of these to keep on hand! :)

Stamp Focus: Twiggy Wreath and Sentiments
Hello Crafty Friends!
It was my turn to share at Quietfire Creations and I created a card using the newly released stamp set, Twiggy Wreath and Sentiments.
The twiggy heart is so pretty! The card created was simple to make and the steps could easily be used to make other cards. Just mix and match your washi tape and pick coordinating ink for the heart and you have cards for almost any occasion.
Here is a great Christmas project: create many cards as a gift for someone. Not only does it save the happy recipient time and money for cards, they are also able to give beautiful handmade cards to their friends and loved ones.
For more card details and instructions, feel free to hop on over to the Quietfire Creations blog post.
Have a great day!

Hello Crafty Friends!
I just can't put away the newly released product from Crafter's Companion Christmas collection. But hey, Christmas is right around the corner so that means more cards are completed. Yay!
Today's card used different stamp and die sets. It also used product that I seem to be addicted to: Spectrum Noir's Sparkle pens. So yummy!

Product Focus: Crafter's Companion 3D embossing folder
Hello Crafty Friends!
Today I would like to share another card that was created for Crafter's Companion on TSC. The card's focus is the Believe embossing folder.
The folder was used to emboss the gold Luxury card stock. After embossing I applied Spectrum Noir markers on the raised areas for a vintage, metallic effect. The results are amazing.
The photo does not do it justice as it is difficult to capture the raised areas and the coloring. Try this technique on your own and see the results. It is very cool!

Bone Collector Halloween card
Hello!
Oh! I have been waiting a month to share this card. It was created for my hubby so I could not share it on social media until now. He is a big fan of Halloween and the cheesy horror movies. (Actually, he is in the other room now watching a cheesy horror film. LOL. He cracks me up.)
This card was a hodgepodge of different papers (Tim Holtz, Recollections, etc). The cool dog x-ray is a stamp! So awesome...
It seemed fitting to add Tim Holtz' "Bone Collector" tag to the front. Hehehe.
Off to make treat bags! Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Happy Halloween!

Crafter's Companion Vintage Candles Christmas card
Hello hello!
Is this a busy crafting time of year or what? I love it! There is always a perfect excuse to be in the craft room whether is is making a Halloween treat bag or a Thanksgiving card or a Christmas project. Today's project is Christmas: a vintage looking poinsettia and candle card. (My apologies for not supplying more photos- this was one of the cards sent for the TSC show and I only took a couple of good photos before shipping the card off.)
The card used Crafter's Companion Christmas Candles stamp and die set and Luxury Card Stock. The candles and background papers used water color paper. I water colored the candles and poinsettias using Distress Markers but this also could have been done with other water based inks. For extra awesome I added Stickles to the candle flames. :)
Really like the antiqued look of the card. After looking at this I realize that it would be neat to try different colors for the poinsettias...hmmm...I think I see another project!
