Hello Crafty Friends!
It is new release time at Crafter's Companion...woo-who! I was so excited in anticipation for the release date as I wanted to share my favorite project: a mixed media pop up card box. The box was created using the new Pop Up Card die set, Pop Up stamp set, and Clear Texture Stamps set. All of the product is currently available on HSN.
The fun flowers were colored using Spectrum Noir Water Reactive Inks. The Texture Stamps were heat embossed for extra detail. Love the way it turned out!
Isn't it just the sweetest? This card makes me happy...I hope you enjoyed it, too!
Thanks for stopping by!
Feel free to check out all of the other new Crafter's Companion product on HSN. :)
Hugs,
Kathy Jo

The Spectrum Noir Dye inks were used for the layering and I adore the colors! (I have a few favorite colors of Spectrum Noir inks and Fuchsia is definitely one of them!)

Pink Ink Designs: Mixed Media "Hare"
Hello Crafty Friends!
Have you ever come across a product image and said to yourself "Oh my word...I need that!"? That is exactly what happened when I first saw Pink Ink Designs' Hare stamp set. That sweet face and those eyes drew me in. The Hare was ordered and as soon as it arrived I was crafting!
The hare was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored using Spectrum Noir Water Reactive inks. Just look at those blushed cheeks!
Nuvo drops were applied as shown. The glitter drops were also spread along the inside of the ears.
The background was created using more of the Water Reactive inks. The butterflies, rabbits, and foliage were added using Spectrum Noir dye inks. More of the Glitter drops were added to the foliage.
Very happy with the first project I made with the Pink Ink Designs Hare stamp set. The hare is such a cutie!
Product used:
Pink Ink Designs, Hare
Spectrum Noir, Water Reactive Inks and Dye inks
Spectrum Noir, Waterproof ink
Spectrum Noir Aqua paper
Nuvo Crystal Drops and Jewel Drops
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a happy, crafty day.
Big Hugs,

Foiling Fun! Radiating "Love you"
Hello Crafty Friends!
Have you tried Crafter's Companion FoilPress? It is an amazing little tool and adds a whole new level to your papercrafting. I keep the machine on my craft desk and consider it one of my "must haves".
The card today features the "Love you" radiating Foil Stamp 'n' Cut die.
The Radiating Foil Stamp was used with Berry foil onto Kraft card stock. It was cut to size and Spectrum Noir Water Reactive inks were applied to the edges for a vintage look.
Crafter's Companion Luxury Glitter card stock is a fabulous pairing with foiled stamp dies. (The red and gold luxury card stocks are always nearby my crafty space.)
As a heads up regarding the foils: Crafter's Companion offers two types of foils, Papercraft and Multi-surface. If you plan on foiling only paper then the Papercraft is your choice. (Several times I have made a shopping card and added the wrong foil type. Luckily I caught the error when double checking my cart.)
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a happy, crafty day.
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Video Tutorial: simple yet stunning Valentine's Day / Love cards using Quietfire Design
Hello Crafty Friends!
Every Thursday on the Quietfire Design Facebook page we have a FB Live. Usually the talented designer and owner, Suzanne Cannon, delights us with her tutorials. Every so often I pop in and share a technique or tutorial. This week I shared how to create two different Love/Valentine's Day cards using the Quietfire Design set, Love/Valentine's Day:
It is a beautiful set of eight rubber stamps featuring gorgeous calligraphy details.
The first tutorial featured was a simple, yet lovely card using the ornate heart stamp and the "Have I told you lately that I love you" stamps:
The second card was also simple to make with stunning results. The stamps look gorgeous embossed in the Modern Gilding Powders:

Stamp Focus: The Best thing I ever did...Believe in You
Hello Crafty Friends!
Yesterday in the Suzanne Cannon Fan Group, I shared a card using the lovely stamp, The Best Thing- Believe in You stamp:
The card had darker colors using the Modern Gilding Powders and Graphic 45 papers.
Today is my day to share on the Quietfire Creations Blog so I created another project using the stamp- but chose lighter colored Graphic 45 papers. The stamp really pops against the lighter colors!
For more details and the full post, please hop on over to the Quietfire Creations blog post.
Product used:
The Best Thing- Believe in You stamp
Modern Gilding Powders in Kells Gold and Gothic Black
Are you a member of the Suzanne Cannon Fan Group? Feel free to request joining (two simple questions to answer to make sure you are not a robot!) and you will find more inspiration, lovely crafty friends and a happy, crafty spot!
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a great day!
