Hello Sweet Crafty Friends!
Over the weekend my hubby and I went to a wedding in Montreal. Oh- it was so fun! The wedding was full of smiles, laughter, dancing and fabulous food. The bride was beautiful and the groom just beamed with smiles throughout the day. The vacation in Montreal is a time I will remember always.
For the wedding I created a card using Crafter's Companion foil dies and other dies. I put the bride and groom initials on the card front using the Classic alphabet foil stamp dies and the Elegance frame. It was die cut using the torn edge circle dies.
The background was created using the Ornate Swirls Background die and then cut to size. Turquoise foil was used throughout.
The best part about the card? Well, my hubby and I forgot to sign the inside. LOL! I was sitting at the reception table when it hit me. Can you imagine the thoughts after I realized the lack of signatures? I did tell the groom later on. What a laugh! And, I will always remember to check the inside of cards in the future. :)
You can find all of the Crafter's Companion goodies here.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a happy, crafty day.

"Believe in You" mixed media card
Hello Crafty Friends!
Last Sunday on the Suzanne Cannon Fan Group I shared a project I had started. It was a mixed media card using one of the beautiful Quietfire Design stamps, Believe in You.
After the inky fun was done, I finished the card to share on Quietfire Creations. For more photos and details, feel free to hop on over to the post. :)

Foiled Butterfly Background
Hello Crafty Friends!
After doing all the fun foiling lately, I noticed that I had a lot of unused foil set aside. Creativity struck and I decided to use all the bits on a Crafter's Companion background foil die. Using the bits for backgrounds are a great way to use up that scrap and create a colorful background.
This is actually the second background I created. The first background had smaller bits used. Both backgrounds are pretty but this background was used on a card.
The foil background die is called Beautiful Butterflies Background. I think the name is very appropriate. :)
I hope the card inspired you to use up those scrap pieces of foil!
Have a happy, crafty day.

Parisian "To a Dear Friend" pocket card
Hello Crafty Friends!
Today is a holiday here in Nova Scotia and I was able to enjoy a sleep in. How refreshing it is to sleep until 7! I woke up with the vigor of...well...I don't know...perhaps a person that slept longer. LOL. I decided to take a couple of km stroll but the weather did not impress me. It is raining so I will do some indoor cleaning and, of course, some crafty time, instead.
Before I start the "day off" plans, I want to share a card I created for the upcoming The Shopping Channel show (on May 22). It is a sweet "To a Dear Friend" pocket card using product from Crafter's Companion Parisian Collection. Aside from the pretty patterned papers, two die sets were used: Scenic France and the Parisian Border die.
The border die is so pretty and I have used it on many crafty projects.
The stamp is from the Everyday Greetings set.
The pocket and card set is super easy to make. I will make a tutorial in the upcoming weeks and share. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Kathy Jo

Elegant "Celebrate" foil card
Hello Crafty Friends!
Do you foil in any of your crafts? I am lucky to be on the Crafter's Companion Design Team and get to play with new foil product before it is released. Well...I have to admit something now...I am addicted to it! Foiling adds a whole new dimension to my crafts and I find that I am turning to those foil dies often. And the results are stunning!
Today's "Celebrate" card used the Celebrate word foil die, the Provence Frame Foil 'N Cut die and the Ornate Swirls Background die. Isn't the foiling gorgeous?
The Provence Frame Foil 'N Cut die is awesome because it foils, embosses and cuts the frame at one time. So smart!
All of the goodies are available at HSN in the U.S., TSC in Canada and on the Crafter's Companion online store. Here are the store links:

Roses-in-Bloom Create A Card by Crafter's Companion
Hello Crafty Friends!
How is your day going? I hope well! It is rainy here in Nova Scotia but I do not mind at all. Rain can be quite pretty, peaceful and it provides nourishment to the spring gardens. Right now my tulips, daffodils and lungworts are in bloom. Last weekend I saw a plump bumble bee scooting by me to visit the gardens. The little visitor made me smile. Spring is such a sweet time of year!
My roses are not in bloom yet but there are roses on the card I am sharing today. I used Crafter's Companion Create-A-Card set "Roses-in-Bloom" as the base. It is stunning in black card stock. Inside the card is paper from the Enchanted Forest Collection. A CC stamp was applied in the center of the paper's bright sphere.
The paper rose was placed on layered Torn Circle dies and strategically placed above the sphere. It looks so neat when closed!
All of the Crafter's Companion product is available online at the CC store, on HSN (in the U.S.) and on TSC (in Canada).
Thank you so much for stopping by!

"With Love" butterflies and lace
Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Friday!
I do hope you are having a happy, crafty day. :)
I thought I would end the week with pretty butterflies, lace dies and luxury gold details. This card was a demo on the recent HSN show with Crafter's Companion. It used all of the goodies from the Rustic Cottage small bundle. The patterned paper colors are so soft and pretty. The dies are a perfect combination to the papers and stamps.
The butterflies look so delicate! They were die cut from luxury gold card stock and mounted as shown. It may be a little difficult to see the wings so I took a snapshot (below) that may help show the curves I created in the wings. The butterflies just "pop" off of the lace...how pretty!!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Gin & Tonic...for amazing dance moves
Hello Crafty Friends!
This card is definitely different than yesterday's nautical card with the hand watercolored seaside image. Today's card uses the oh-so-fun Gin & Tonic stamp from Crafter's Companion.
I thought the black satin bow added some "class" to the card front...that and the gems/pearls I recently purchased at the local dollar store! :)
Simple to put together but the card looks "amazing". :D

New Crafter's Companion release!
It has been over a month since my last post! Time has flown by. I have been busy creating samples for the current Crafter's Companion show on HSN since we last spoke. Oh- it has been crafty crazy here and I love it!
Today I want to share one of my favorites cards I created using the newly released Nautical Collection. The images were stamped onto Spectrum Noir Aqua paper and then colored using Spectrum Noir Water Reactive Inks.
The Nautical Collection has some lovely Nautical themed dies, too. The look great on a step card. :)
The entire collection is fabulous! Feel free to hop on over to HSN to check out the bundle.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a happy, crafty day.
Big hugs,
Kathy Jo
