Happy Weekend, Everyone!
Another card to share for the JustRite "Sew Good" Challenge. The challenge is to use stitching, buttons, fabric, etc on the card or project. I do not sew fabric well and would be doubly horrible on paper so on this card I drew the black stitches in. :)
The ivory card was made from Spellbinders 5x7 Elegant Labels 4. The middle die from that set was stamped in gold using JustRite background Floral Flourishes. The middle die cut piece was eventually foam taped to the front of the card. A cut was made through both papers using Spellbinders Labels Four. The butterfly is from JustRite stamp set Botanical Butterflies. The butterfly was stamped twice and embossed. After embossing, they were colored using Copic markers. The butterflies were taped back to back and fishing line was inserted in between. The fishing line ends were then assembled in between the two top layers on the card.
Black faux stitching was added around the paper as shown. Wooden Buttons were colored using an orange Copic and then assembled onto either the flowers or the top of the polka dot bow. An ivory doily was mounted under the bow assembly.
The inside cutout was made using Labels Four and then embossed using Cuttlebug folder Birds and Swirls.
