The only time you should ever look back....

Hello Sweet Crafty Friends.

I just wanted to pop in today to share some love and inspiration.

Let's face it, life is no easy journey.  Sometimes our path is smooth, straight and takes us through areas full of sunshine, rainbows and lollipops.  Then sometimes we are slowly sludging through 2 feet of mud with the rain beating down on us.  No matter what part of life you are at right now, keep your chin up and fight on.  You can do this.  Try not to let the past weigh you down either.  I know it can be tough.  But remember: The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you've come.

The awesomely inspiring quote above is a stamp from Quietfire Design.  I thought that I would frame it with a Polaroid die as many old photos we look back at are Polaroids.  The bright yellow background was created using Dylusions sprays.
I do hope this little project brought some inspiration and love to your day.  If you want to create a similar project for someone, the product links are below.   (FYI: at the time of this post, I found the Polaroid die on clearance!  I made sure to share that link!)

Product used:
Quietfire Design: The only time stamp
Bo Bunny: Polaroid die
Ranger Ink: Dylusions Sprays and Archival ink
Graphic 45: Nature Sketchbook patterned paper

Thank you for stopping by.

Another easy gift card holder!

Hello Crafty Friends!

Yesterday I shared a post of an easy gift card holder that was created for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  The card was so easy to make that I decided to make another one...and then another one.  :)

Below is the diagram showing the folds, cuts and tape required to make the card.  Instructions are list on the bottom.
The card used more stamps from the set, Christmas Collection.  The patterned paper is from my stash (this card is a great way to use up scrap papers)- it is from BoBunny but I do not recall the collection.

The card came together in a flash and is perfect for a last minute rush gift card holder.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a happy, crafty day!
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo

Sing as if no one is listening

Hello Crafty Friends!  .

Today is my day to post at Quietfire Creations and I am sharing a happy, summer sing card using Quietfire Design's lovely "The Woods Would be Very Silent" stamp set:
The Woods Would be Very Silent - Set of 5 Stamps - Mounted
The stamp set pairs up perfectly with BoBunny's recently released Secret Garden collection.
Here is a closeup of the cute bird and banners:
What is great about the stamp set is that you can use the sweet chickadee stamp instead of the bird image in the paper set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I do hope you enjoyed the cheerful card.  :)
Have a happy, crafty day!
Hugs,
Kathy Jo
