Happy Valentine's Day!
Today I am sharing a card I made for a friend's wife. Most holidays and special occasions I make a card for his wife, and usually each card is funny or a little off the wall. When I came across this Cupig stamp I knew that he would want this on a card for her. LOL. They are such a cute couple.
Cupig was colored with Copics and Stickles was applied to the wings. On his nose and inside ears Liquid Pearl was added. It was die cut using Spellbinders Lace Hearts. Red card stock was also cut from a die in the same set. White card stock was dry embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. It was mounted on red card stock and red/white baker's twine adhered into place. Easy Peasy! Once the pig was colored, the card came together quickly.

Hi Crafters!
Wednesday...finally! We are halfway to the weekend. :)
Last year I went home to visit family and Hobby Lobby (LOL). In one of their clearance sections was a Sizzix Flip-It die. Fast forward to last night when I finally used it. What a fun die! I grabbed some happy My Mind's Eye glittery paper and made this card.
I stamped the new stamp set from Quietfire
(A Mother's Greatest Masterpiece) to two die cuts from Spellbinders Eighteen. The wee butterflies was punched from Martha Stewart's butterfly punch. Of course bling
was added and a bright yellow bow.
Such an easy card and having the sentiment swing to the funny second stamp was perfect.

- You have numerous bottles of Stickles and backups for your favorites (Stardust!).

- Although you are sad that Desperate Housewives is ending, you are looking forward to that extra hour of craft time each week.

- You pass on going out for lunch because you are saving for "that new Spellbinders Nestabilities".
- You wish you had a pair of carpenter pants so that you can holster your tape gun.
- You refer to the excitement of finding Cosmo Cricket paper in clearance as having a "craft-gasm".
- You need to have a membership at the local sewing supply store in order to keep your ribbon costs down.
