How is your week going? I hope great! I have been playing with my new Spellbinders and trying to figure out how to make cards that are a flatter (as least flatter to me) to mail. I always seem to make a card that does not fit well in envelopes. My goal tonight was to make a quick little birthday card that had two layers...but I ended up with six on the front part of my card. LOL. Let's just say it is a work in progress.
The good thing about my "flatter card" is that I actually did not apply a big flower to my bow (I was tempted!) and went with a single pearl. High fives to a card that is mail-able!
Have a good night and thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kathy Jo

I laughed when I read this, as I'm on the same mission. My cards are costing a fortune to send, but I'm like you, I lurve me some layers! I got six layers on a card today, but by skipping the foam tape, it's pretty flat. *Sigh* I miss the foam tape.... Anyway, your card turned out beautifully. The colours and papers are lovely, and I like the Quietfire stamps you've been showing. I love all the new SB you are using, I'm living vicariously through you, as I have (mostly) successfully resisted the Siren song of the new Spellbinders. (River needs dental work $$)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card you've made! Great use of color and dies. The result, a lovely, super elegant creation. Thanks for joining our very first challenge at Dies R Us.
