Hello Crafty Friends!
How is your day? Are you taking time to craft? Or looking for crafty inspiration? I have a fun day in store: my little niece is coming over for a visit and we are making cards for her grandparents. It will be a time filled with creativity, smiles and ink. :)
Before she comes over, I wanted to share a card using one of the newly released stamps from Crafter's Companion. Just like yesterday's stamp, today's stamp is part of a set:
The base of the project is a pocket card created using the Royal Lattice die set. It was die cut in black, formed and then Spectrum Noir Metallic Wax (in pink) applied. Next, I used the Provence Oval die set (also used on yesterday's card) to cut lilac pearl card stock and gold luxury card stock (both from Crafter's Companion). The quote was stamped onto the gold oval and heat embossed in black. The frame was mounted directly onto the card front. The oval sentiment had foam tape applied to the center and double sided tape just at the ends.
Next, seam binding was dyed using coordinating Harmony Water Reactive ink, dried, and adhered to the front.
Another project on my project list is to make a similar card but use ivory card stock and another stamp from the collection- like the "Be your own kind of beautiful". Will make sure to share when it is done. :)Thank you for stopping by!
As always, have a happy crafty day.
Big Hugs,
Kathy Jo
This is so elegant and feminine! Love the trellised base - so pretty with the paper behind it. The seam binding is an awesome addition!
