I would like to share a card today using one of my two favorite stamp sets from Just Rite: Botanical Butterflies. I love the versatility of the set and the butterflies are beautiful.
To make the card, I first used the largest die from Spellbinder's Lacey Circles to cut four black lacey circles. I bent each of the circles in half. Then, I die cut two standard circles from Graphic 45 Bird Song paper, cut the circles in half, adhered a half circle to each of the folded lacey circles and assembled the card. The Just Because stamp was embossed on ivory paper, colored with pencils, Gamsoled, circle die cut, and then Tim Holtz's Tea Dye ink was applied to the outside. The finished stamped image was placed on top of another lacey circle die cut from Bird Song Paper and adhered to the inside of the card.

Next step was the ribbon band:

Black paper, pink ribbon and ivory lace were cut to size to make a ribbon band that slides over the card. (It is best to test the band using removable tape to ensure the band can easily slide on and off the card. Use permanent tape after testing.)
The butterfly circle stamp was embossed on ivory card stock and ivory vellum paper. The card stock stamped image was die cut using a circle dye. Tea Dye ink was applied to the center and Peeled Paint applied to the outside of the cardstock image. The butterfly was fussy cut from the vellum paper. Inkssentials black Enamel Accents was used on the outside of the butterfly wings and on the butterfly body. Black flock was applied to the body. After the enamel dried, Stardust and Aqua Stickles were used on the inside of the wings. The vellum butterfly was adhered to the butterfly circle stamp image.
Spellbinder's Blossom Tags and Accents was used to cut another lacy circle from Bird Song paper. Give Flight to Your Dreams was embossed onto ivory card stock, die cut using a Just Rite Banners die, Tea Dye ink applied to the edge and gold glitz spritzed on the banner. The banner, butterfly stamp image assembly and lacy die cut were assembled to the band. A pink double bow was made and two black straight pins (one covered with Aqua Stickles) were inserted into the bow. The bow assembly was adhered to the band. Finally, mini ivory pearls were added to the card as shown.
