Retro Standmixer Cards

Hello Crafters!  I do hope you all had a great weekend.  Although the weekend was busy, I still found time to finish three cards.  Funny how there is always time for crafting but no time for organizing the linen closet...

The first card finished was posted yesterday- the Botanical Butterfly card.  The other two cards used the same stamp so I decided to save those for today.

Card one: Fancy Fold Retro Standmixer Card.  Same idea as yesterday's butterfly card but instead of a ribbon band I used ribbon and tied it closed.  I also used Blossom Three dies instead of Lacey Circles.  Two things I learned with this card: (1) The ribbon does work but I found that the band was better (2) the Blossom Three die set (S4-312) did not work as well as the Lacey Circles die set. The flower petals were a little fussy to align.

Card two: Standard Fold Retro Standmixer Card. Talk about an easy card! The paper is just too cute with the stamp and I had to use the swatch die behind the mixer. That is one of my favorite die sets and I enjoy using it on cards.

Inside of card

Materials used on card two: Stampabilities Vintage Mixer (F1237), "We're the Perfect Blend" Stamp (Fiskars), Spellbinders dies Square Swatches (S4-342) Classic Squares (S4-126), Cherry Blossoms (S4-378), mini black buttons, For The Record paper pad (Echo Park), copic markers, clear enamel, yellow ribbon

Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow I will have a post on a storage unit I found for my 6x6 paper pads.  So excited to finally get those organized.  :)
